Easter does not begin with noise or celebration.

It begins in the quiet.

The stone is rolled away, not with drama, but with a quiet certainty that something has changed forever.

Mary Magdalene comes in grief, expecting death.

Instead, she encounters life, but does not recognise it at first.

And perhaps that is where we are too.

Easter is not always obvious.

Resurrection does not always arrive with clarity.

Sometimes it comes in a conversation, a moment of peace, or a strength we did not know we had.

The Risen Christ stands before us, often unrecognised, calling us by name.

“Mary”

And everything changes.
