presence, you experienced as a child.

Now, with a sense of wonder pay attention

to your hands as they rest.

Notice the contact between one finger

and another finger;

The space between the fingers.

Move one hand over the other.

Notice places of hardness,

Places of softness,

The feel of skin,

The way the fingers bend.

Breathe into your unique sense of touch.

Breathing in playfulness,

Breathing out gratitude.

Breathing in gift,

Breathing out gratitude.
