But when we remember that nothing is permanent, everything starts to matter more. You hold your loved ones a little tighter, look up instead of down and stop waiting for the perfect moment and start realising this is the moment.

So appreciate what’s here while it’s here. The meal you’re eating, the song playing in the background and the person sitting next to you. For when you truly understand that everything is temporary, you stop taking life for granted.
